Molecular detection is currently a part of clinical oncology diagnostics. The recent grow of advanced molecular technologies enables for a certain number of cases to optimize the treatment by incorporating individual, molecular DNA-characteristics of the tumor and of the patient himself: the so-called ‘Targeted Next-Generation-Sequencing (NGS).

The BEWSD database collects information regarding the analysis of illicit drug samples (both known illicit drugs and new psychoactive substances) in Belgium.This concerns mostly analytical data regarding dosage/purity/contaminants of seized powders, tablets, etc. In the future, also clinical toxicological data will be added, describing intoxications with known illicit drugs or new psychoactive substances, originating from the clinical toxicology laboratories in Belgium.

Belgian Registry for Assisted Procreation

The Belgian Registry for Assisted Procreation (BELRAP) registry exists since 1989. It is regulated by the European IVF Monitoring Committee, a task force within the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. The quality control at the Belgian level is the responsibility of the “College of Physicians of Reproductive Medicine”. This control includes the registration of medically assisted procreation treatments and outcomes in Belgium.
