The Belgian Obstetric Surveillance System, B.OSS, supported by the College of Mother and Newborn, has been constituted in 2011 and started registering in the whole of Belgium as from January 2012. The Belgian Registry for Assisted Procreation (BELRAP) registry exists since 1989. It is regulated by the European IVF Monitoring Committee, a task force within the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. The quality control at the Belgian level is the responsibility of the “College of Physicians of Reproductive Medicine”. This control includes the registration of medically assisted procreation treatments and outcomes in Belgium.
